Nail pages to follow on Instagram.

Jess Fraser

I'm writing this blog post on day 7 of lockdown! The corona virus pandemic has meant my business as a nail tech has had to stop, and my last client was over a week ago. These are CRAZY times, but it is our reality so we have make the most of the situation, hence why I'm starting my blog; something I should've done a long time ago. The posts will be about a few different topics; nails, health, spiritual, and wellness.

Anywho, (Friends is on in the background lol) lets get into today's post; Top nail accounts on Instagram. If you're not on Instagram don't worry you can still look at pages on your internet search engine. Or set up an account just to look at nails! Instagram really is the best place to view photos. Now choosing just a few accounts is not the easiest thing to do because theres sooooooo many amazing nail techs globally, all sharing stunning sets of nails. I've focused on three Insta accounts in this post, and tried to choose nail artists with varying styles. Have a look through the photos I've added, but don't forget to go over to their Instagram pages and follow and like these amazing artists work.

Vanity Projects @vanityprojects

The cool thing about their insta page is they have lots of different nail techs in one place. Vanity Projects is a nail studio in NYC (they also have a location in Miami now) that hosts international nail artists from all around the world, who specialise in different techniques. I think the majority of the nails are done free hand and their talent is INSANE, so much inspiration! Have a scroll through, I've featured a number of different artists from Vanity Projects. Go to the VP Instagram to see who they are.

Karen Stynes @kis_kisdesigns

Karen Stynes is a UK based nail tech and CJP brand educator in Cumbria, England. Karen uses acrylic techniques, and paints designs freehand using gel paints to create stunning nails. If you're a nail technician yourself Karen offers online courses (I've done one myself) giving you the secrets to some designs your clients will be amazed by. Go to her instagram and you can scroll through for hours, not only are the designs beautiful but her nail shaping is on point. So much talent, makes me grin when I'm looking through!

Deadly Beauty And Nail Studio @deadlynails

My last featured nail tech and artist is Deadly Nails all the way over in Australia. She specialises in one of a kind nails, embleshments, lots of encapsulated glitter and (heres the twist)............bugs. Real life (actually dead) bugs! She has encapsulated spiders, ladybirds, butterflies, even seahorses into gorgeously bewitching sets of nails. And before you worry all the creatures die of natural causes, and are donated to the salon by a local taxidermist. No creatures were harmed in the making of these nails. Go take a look at her page and see some truly unique nail art.
